Diamond Jubilee inspired eye makeup tutorial

This is the next Jubilee tutorial! Probably a little more wearable than the crazy lip creation but below you can see them together and decide your favourite.

Zoom into the eyes you can see that I've incorporated the blue, red and white of the union jack. I decided to do a split crease look as it looks like half of a cross and I realised afterwards that It was the shape of triangular bunting, or is that pushing the links?!

First apply primer to your lids...

...then blend NYX Jumbo pencil in Milk across the lid...

...using a medium sized paddle brush...

...apply Paris Romance No39 from Sephora into the outer corner of the eyelid...

...using a chubby pencil brush...

...apply the dark blue of this Rimmel Trio shadow to the outer crease...

...using this cute, tiny paddle brush...

...go back to this palette and use the white shadow to set the white eyeliner base in the inner half of the eye lid, creating a colour gradient across the whole upper eyelid blending from white to dark blue...
...using a cotton bud/cue tip dipped in water or makeup remover, create a flick that has a really sharp, clean line...

...using a flat angle liner brush...

...(back to our go-to palette!) apply the red under the lower lash line and create a downward flick to finish off the split crease shape...
...using the same brush, apply this Barry M pigment (No47) wet under the last line and re-establish the line of the split crease, leave the shadow to to the blending though...

...using a big chubby brush...

...apply a light blue colour onto the brow bone for a highlighter...

...using the same eye liner pencil as earlier...
...and this small liner brush, re-define the split crease by applying the white colour in the triangle shape made in the middle of the two flicks...

...so it links to diamonds, apply dots of glitter liner along the two flicks...

...apply lashes to bring the look together...

Hope you've enjoyed this tutorial! Comment and tell me what your Jubilee celebration plans are, I'd love to know and I hope you have a lovely time.
