MAC Blush haul: Powder, Sheertone Shimmer & Mineralize

This is a review of 6 MAC blushes I have including 1 Sheertone Shimmer blush, 3 normal matte powder blushes and 2 Mineral blushes. Below are pictures and swatches of them all and a video of my review, you can also visit my channel here to watch it.

Actual colour - Melba

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

This was the first blush i purchased from MAC so I spent a really long time deciding what colour to get as they are quite expensive, this is a nice bland between the other two powder blushes I have so you can wear it day-to-day and when going out. It's quite a peachy pink colour but it's not too bright and garish.

Actual colour - Fleur Power

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

This is a really sheer, light pink that's lovely for brightening up your face or freshening up a look, it reminds of summer or spring so the name is very fitting. Don't be fooled though it has nothing to do with the Fashion Flower collection!

Actual colour - Desert Rose

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

This is the darkest pink I own, it's very rosy red but because it's also quite a dusty colour it's not too bright or overpowering. To me it's quite a sophisticated colour that would be worn out more than just day-to-day but if you can pull it off then go for it!

Actual colour - Trace Gold

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

This is a Sheertone Shimmer blush meaning it just has a different finish to the other powder blushes, It has gold shimmer in it which makes you cheeks sort of glow and look more healthy and natural. The brown can sometimes look a bit orangey in some lights due to the gold shimmer though.

Actual colour - Gleeful

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

Mineralize blushes are for when you want less product on your face for a more lightweight and natural look. This is quite a deep pink when you look at it in the pot but as it's a mineralize blush it applies to the skin really nicely. This pink I feel is slightly tinted brown which also brings the brightness down.

Actual colour - Warm Soul

Swatch (Heavy above, Lightly below)

Probably my favourite blush along with Melba. It's a light brown/pink colour which is really beautiful if you put on heavily or lightly, like all mineralize blushes it's completely packed with glitter/shimmer so hits the light beautifully and does the same job that the Sheertone Shimmer blush does - gives you a healthy glow etc.

Powder Blush: £17.00/$19.50
Sheertone Shimmer Blush: £17.00/$19.50
Mineralize blush: £19.00/$23.00

I hope this review was helpful and gave you an idea of what blushes you'd be interested in getting from MAC :) Please comment/follow/subscribe to my youtube here. :D
